TN Nutrition Consumer Education Program TNCEP is a nutrition education program for Tennessee families who receive SNAP or who are eligible for SNAP. The goal of TNCEP is to teach families how to choose and prepare nutritionally adequate diets and help them feel empowered to move toward self-sufficiency.

Welcome to the University of Tennessee Extension - DeKalb County.
We are here to serve the communities encompassed in the bounds of DeKalb County. We are in the business of providing education to our citizens on a variety of topics including: horticulture, family and consumer sciences, nutrition, 4-H youth development, agriculture, etc.
We are proud to be a part of DeKalb County. All of the information provided is research based and provided through the University of Tennessee Extension. The DeKalb County office is like all 95 county offices in Tennessee. We are cooperatively funded through county, state and federal monies.
